AARP offers Free Tax Assistance

The AARP for the Oconee and Anderson counties area is providing free income tax assistance to seniors.  Help is available on February 1 at the Anderson Adult Education Center from 8:30am to 12:30pm, on February 4 and 6 AARP representatives will be at the Anderson County Library from 3:30pm to 7:30pm, on February 7, they will be at Senior Solutions on Perry Avenue in Seneca starting at 8:30am.  On these dates, AARP representatives will be at these locations preparing tax returns for anyone who wants them done. The returns will be done by certified IRS tax preparers and filed electronically.
