Academy Graduation of Deputy Jonathan Hodge

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office announces the graduation of Jonathan Hodge from the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy in Columbia.  Hodge is the second graduate of the Academy since Mike Crenshaw became Sheriff of Oconee County on January 1st.  Hodge is a 2007 graduate of Walhalla High School and a 2012 graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with an emphasis on Criminal Justice. Hodge also won the Top Gun award at the Academy, which is given to the cadet with the highest score on the gun range.  Upon his graduation from the Academy, Hodge was assigned to the Road Patrol unit on Bravo Shift.   “I congratulate Deputy Hodge on his graduation and his achievements of obtaining the top gun award,” says Oconee County Sheriff Mike Crenshaw.  “Deputy Hodge is looking forward to getting to know the citizens of Oconee County and to begin building partnerships to promote a safer community.”
