Additional Arrest in Operation Avalanche

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office, along with law enforcement partners from the Seneca Police Department, announce an additional arrest in “Operation Avalanche.” This arrest brings the total number of individuals arrested as part of this operation to eleven. Arrested and booked into the Oconee County Detention Center by the Seneca Police Department was 50-year-old Mickey Edward Cox of Seneca on conspiracy to traffic in methamphetamine. His arrest warrant from the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office tied directly into the Operation Avalanche investigation. The Sheriff’s Office announced Monday that they were not only seeking the whereabouts of Cox but also seeking 30-year-old Amy Deanna Cobb on an outstanding arrest warrant related to the investigation.
