Additional Arrest made in 19th Operation Infinity

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office announces an additional arrest in the nineteenth “Operation Infinity” drug sweep round-up that began on June 4. This latest roundup involves 21 subjects wanted on a variety of drug charges involving methamphetamine, heroin, and prescription drugs as well as unlawful neglect of a child charges and attempting to purchase Pseudoephedrine above the legal limit charges. The most recent arrest was that of 18-year-old Catelynn Marie Caldwell of Seneca for unlawful neglect of a child. She was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center on Friday, June 29, after being transported from jail in Abbeville County to Oconee County. Caldwell was given a combined $10,000 surety bond. So far, 12 individuals have been arrested or were already in jail and have been served their warrants. The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing their investigation and due to that fact, the names of the other individuals being sought will not be released at this time.
