Additional Arrest Made in Oconee County’s 2024 Narcotics Operation
The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office has made one more arrest stemming from a 2024 undercover drug investigation that targeted the sale of cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine, morphine, and prescription pills through controlled buys. Cameron Antonio Hunter, 42, of Bernwood Circle in Seneca, was taken into custody on November 26, 2025, by the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office and transferred to Oconee County authorities. He faces one count each of distribution of Lortab and distribution of cocaine, was booked at 6:41 p.m., received a $10,000 surety bond, and was released on November 28 after posting bond. Hunter’s arrest brings the total number of individuals charged or served in the 2024 round-up to 26.
