Additional Arrest made in Operation Infinity Drug Sweep Round-Up

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office announces an additional arrest in the nineteenth “Operation Infinity” drug sweep round-up, explains Public Information Officer Jimmy Watt. “The Sheriff’s Office began the operation officially on June 4, 2018. Twenty-one subjects have been sought as part of this particular roundup on a variety of drug charges involving methamphetamine, heroin, and prescription drugs while some of the subjects had unlawful neglect of a child charges obtained against them and some had a charge of attempting to purchase Pseudoephedrine above the legal limit. The additional subject arrested was 33-year-old Samuel Kevin Neale of West Union and New Port Richey, Florida for two counts of distribution of methamphetamine. Neale was transported to the Oconee County Detention Center from the Pasco County, Florida Sheriff’s Office. Neale also had three General Sessions Bench Warrants, which he was served as well. At this time, Neale remains in custody at the Detention Center on a combined $30,000 surety bond on the drug charges. Neale will be required to wear electronic monitoring as a condition of bond upon release from the Oconee County Detention Center.” This additional arrest brings the total arrested so far in the operation to sixteen. The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing their investigation.
