Airing out Walhalla’s new spending plans

The public has an invitation to comment or ask questions this evening about Walhalla’s plans for a new government year, to start on Wednesday. The public hearing on the new budget is set for 5:30 this evening at city hall. An overview for fiscal 2026-27 projects expenses of $16.7 million and revenues at $16.6 million. In the new budget: paving projects, a new raw water pump, 2% cost of living increase for all employees, and a longevity raise for employees reaching their five-year milestone.
