All Rise! Court Will Soon Be In Session

South Carolina’s Chief Justice Donald Beatty has decided it’s time for court to return to as normal a schedule as possible, and so, a General Sessions Court jury term is set for the week of October 12 in Oconee County.

Clerk of Court Beverly Whitfield said that preparations are underway for trials, including the installation of Plexiglas partitions in the 12-seat jury box, as a way to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus or flu.
