Anderson County Man Dies from Injuries Sustained in November Lawnmower Crash

Anderson County Coroner Greg Shore has confirmed that 73-year-old Johnny Randy Callaham of Anderson died on December 10, 2025, nearly a month after being struck from behind while riding a lawnmower on Snow Road at Amber Drive on November 17. Callaham was ejected in the collision, airlifted to Prisma Health Greenville for treatment, and later placed under hospice care, where he succumbed to multiple traumatic injuries ruled accidental. The incident remains under joint investigation by the Anderson County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
