Anderson County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Individual On Burglary Charges

(Seneca, SC)———————-The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office arrested a subject on burglary charges today, a subject who allegedly told deputies that there was an active shooter located at the offices of Piedmont Natural Gas in Anderson. Deputies responded to the business location on White Street Extension around 7am this morning. Deputies located an individual on scene who said people were shooting inside and that there were additional shooters on top of the building. Deputies discovered during their investigation that the individual was intoxicated and no active shooting was going on.
