Anderson Man arrested for Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor

Attorney General Alan Wilson announces that 26-year-old William Jolly of Anderson was recently arrested on two charges of criminal sexual conduct with a minor in the third degree. He appeared before Judge Scott Sprouse who set his bond at $40,000.00 with an order from the Judge that he shall have no contact with the victim or other minors and that he will wear a GPS monitor. It is alleged that William Jolly committed lewd and lascivious acts with a minor under the age of 16 in Anderson and Berkeley counties on multiple occasions from 2015-2017. A person found guilty of criminal sexual conduct with a minor in the third degree must be fined in the discretion of the court or imprisoned not more than fifteen years, or both. The investigation is still ongoing. If you have any information regarding this case, contact SLED at 803-896-7136.
