Anderson Man Arrested for Drug Trafficking and Domestic Violence

Anderson County deputies announced that they arrested 60-year-old Terrance Gaines on January 30th after responding to a domestic dispute on Old North Church Road, where neighbors reported a fight followed by a gunshot. Deputies found a shell casing in the parking lot and discovered that Gaines had prevented a woman from leaving the apartment before firing a shot after she left. A search uncovered a firearm and a Crown Royal bag containing 506 grams of cocaine in vacuum-sealed bricks. Gaines faces multiple charges, including Trafficking Cocaine 400 grams or more, Domestic Violence 1st Degree, and multiple firearm offenses. He remains in the Anderson County Detention Center with a total bond amount set at $51,000.
