Anderson Man Arrested on Child Sexual Abuse Material Charges

Larry Ray Vickery, Jr., 52, of Anderson, was arrested on Wednesday, May 29, on seven charges related to the sexual exploitation of a minor. The arrest was made by investigators from the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, with assistance from various law enforcement agencies. Vickery is accused of distributing and possessing files of child sexual abuse material. He faces five counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, second degree, punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment each, and two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, third degree, also punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment each. The case will be prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office. He remains in custody at the Anderson County Detention Center with a combined bond amount totaling $350,000.
