ANNOUNCEMENT IMMINENT ON UTICA SHOOTING

A spokesman for the Oconee Sheriff’s Office says an announcement is in the works on the latest law enforcement call to the Utica Community. Of late, Utica has been the location for crime, including suspicious fires. Late yesterday afternoon, on “D” Street, one person sustained a gun shot wound and was flown by medical helicopter for treatment. Deputies were called at 5:13 pm.
