Another Arrest made in Operation Infinity Drug Sweep

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office announces an additional arrest in the fourteenth “Operation Infinity” drug sweep round-up that began Aug. 25, 2016. Booked into the Oconee County Detention Center on May 18, 2017, was 30-year-old Junior Michael Dickert, Jr., of Westminster for distribution of methamphetamine, second offense. The judge set a $25,000 surety bond against Dickert, who was also booked in on a General Sessions Bench Warrant. In all, 25 individuals were being sought on a variety of drug charges involving methamphetamine, prescription drugs, and marijuana. Some individuals in the drug sweep were being sought on charges of unlawful neglect of a child. The additional arrest brings the total number arrested in the round up to 23. The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing their investigation until the final two individuals have been arrested.
