Attempted Murder Suspect Arrested in Anderson County

The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said a suspect wanted for attempted murder in Horry County was taken into custody near Vantage Way on Monday afternoon. Deputies assisted US Marshalls with the arrest. Officials have not released any details surrounding the suspect’s arrest, however, according to records from the Anderson County Detention Center, Corey Cornelius Baxter is in custody and is being held for the Horry County Sheriff’s Office.
