Autopsy conducted in Seneca Traffic Death

An autopsy was conducted Wednesday morning to assist with the death investigation into 60-year-old Ricky Eugene Price of Seneca, who died Monday night at Greenville Memorial Hospital (GMH) from apparent injuries sustained in a moped collision.. Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis reports that the exam found Price died from a closed head injury and that his manner of death is classified as accidental. Price reportedly sustained his injuries early Sunday morning, Aug. 26, at approximately 1:05 am when he lost control of the moped he was operating. The collision occurred in the Utica area of Seneca on Jamerson Avenue between Humbert and Sirrine Streets. The collision was investigated by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
