Autopsy on Lake Hartwell Drowning Victim

An autopsy was performed Monday on Logan Wolfe, the man who drowned on Lake Keowee.  The exam confirmed he died as a result of freshwater drowning.  The incident occurred Saturday afternoon near the I-85 bridge and the Harbor Light Marina in Hart County, Georgia.  A group of friends was operating a pontoon boat on their way back from a weekend camping trip when Wolfe fell off the boat. Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis reports that he sustained no fatal injuries as a result of his fall from the boat.  There was also no medical evidence he sustained a seizure as described by his friends.  Specimens will be submitted to the SLED laboratory for toxicology analysis; however, those results will not be available for several weeks.  Addis reports that his manner of death is classified as accidental.
