Average Price For Gas Down In South Carolina, According To AAA Carolinas

(Seneca, SC)————–For the first time in months, gas price averages are down across the Carolinas, according to AAA Carolinas.

Tiffany Wright, spokesperson for AAA Carolinas, says that even though gasoline demand remains high, inventories grew for the first time since early February.

In the state of South Carolina, the average price for a gallon of gasoline is $2.53 a gallon, which is three cents less than last week, six cents more than a month ago but two cents less than this time last year.

Wright said that motorists across the Carolinas are likely to see prices fluctuate through this month, with prices going up and down as demand remains high and inventories work to catch up.
