BellFest this Saturday

The Friends of Jocassee (FOJ) host the sixth annual BellFest this Saturday, March 17, at Devils Fork State Park. BellFest is the Upstate’s first and best celebration of Spring along the Blue Wall of the Southern Blue Ridge Escarpment, and a particular celebration of the flowering of the area’s most iconic wildflower, the Oconee Bell. The event runs from 10am until 4pm. This is a rain or shine event so make plans to dress accordingly. The FOJ has 35 vendors and exhibitors this year, along with cloggers, speakers, music, silent auction, kid activities, food at Eclectic Sun and more. All proceeds will go towards Oconee Bell preservation projects. The cost is $5 for adults, $3.25 for seniors, $3 for children age 6-15, and free for those five years and younger.
