Bobcats, Lions and Razorbacks make High School Football Playoffs

Three area varsity football teams will be competing in the South Carolina High School League’s state playoffs this year. The Seneca Bobcats finished in second place in Region 1-AAA and will host the Camden Bulldogs at Coach Tom Bass Field at Bobcat Stadium in the first round. The Daniel Lions also finished in second place in Region 1-AAAA and will host the Eastside Eagles in the first round. The Walhalla Razorbacks finished in fifth place in Region 1-AAAA and have earned an at-large selection to the playoffs. The Razorbacks travel to play the South Pointe Stallions. The first round of the state football playoffs was re-scheduled to start on Friday, Nov. 9, after Hurricane Florence interrupted games back in September, so that means that all three area teams will play next week in the first round of the playoffs.
