Bobcats travel to Williamston to play Mustangs Tonight

The Seneca Bobcats travel to Williamston tonight to play a non-region game against the Palmetto Mustangs. The Bobcats are looking for their first win of the season while the Mustangs are trying to advance to 4-0. Seneca High School Varsity Football Head Coach Hal Capps breaks down tonight’s opponent. “Well, I think they are very talented and I think it starts with their quarterback. He is exceptional. He is the kind of young man that has a strong arm, reads coverages well and then he is able to beat you with his feet also; we are going to have to be able to contain him. In the running game, you are going to see one back, two backs and a lot of counters and misdirections. You are also going to see a spread formation all the way to an empty backfield with no running backs just five receivers getting down the field. He will sit back there, he is very patient and will find the open man. Their kicking game with their return people are very dangerous. Up front defensively, they are big and strong kids that just don’t make a whole lot of mistakes. So, they are a very good football team.” Kickoff of the Seneca Bobcats versus Palmetto Mustangs is tonight at 7pm. If you can’t make it to Williamston, listen to the game here on 94.1 The Lake, WSNW.
