Boil Water Advisory Issued for Parts of the Town of Pendleton Lifted

The advisory was put into effect around 9:30am this past Saturday by Pendleton Water Works. The advisory was issued becase pressure was lost due to a water main break on S. Elm Street. The city was asking residents in the affected areas to boil their water vigorously at least one minute prior to drinking or cooking and that any ice made from water that has not been boiled should not be used for drinking purposes.
