Braves fall to Nationals

In their attempt to win a 10th consecutive game against the Washington Nationals, the Atlanta Braves were limited to two hits in Wednesday night’s 2-0 loss at Turner Field.  While winning each of their previous nine games against the Nationals, the Braves had the luxury of not having to face Jordan Zimmermann.  The young pitcher allowed just two hits over eight scoreless innings and Ian Desmond’s two-run homer proved the difference. The loss drops the Atlanta Braves record to 17-10 on the season.  Catch all the exciting action of Atlanta Braves baseball here on WSNW.
