Budget Shortfalls in Seneca Seem Discouraging, But Mayor Is Optimistic

Budget projections presented Tuesday night to Mayor Dan Alexander and Council of the City of Seneca seemed a bit discouraging on the surface. Between the COVID-19 pandemic and the April Tornado, the city budgets for the upcoming fiscal year are taking a hard hit, with projections for the general fund at around half a million dollars less, and utilities at $100,000 less.
