Busy Days for U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham

(Seneca, SC)——————U.S. Senator and Seneca native Lindsey Graham will lead a bipartisan Congressional delegation to attend this weekend’s Munich Security Conference. The MSC is considered the world’s leading forum for international security policy. Among the world leaders attending the conference will be Vice-President Mike Pence.

Senator Graham also spoke on the Senate floor yesterday in support of the nomination of William Barr to be the next Attorney General of the United States. He called it a “great day for the Department of Justice” regarding Barr’s confirmation by a 54-45 vote. Senator Graham also joined an oval office gathering, that included President Donald Trump, as Barr was sworn into office.

Graham also issued a statement regarding the funding bill that will avert another partial government shutdown and said that President Trump should use his executive power, including declaring a national emergency, to build a wall on the U.S. southern border with Mexico.
