Busy Next Two Weeks In Store For The City Of Clemson

(Seneca, SC)——–The city of Clemson and surrounding areas will be busy over the next couple of weeks with the start of public school classes and the start of classes at Clemson University, plus, the Welcome Back event is scheduled for next Tuesday, August 20th. The Budweiser Clydesdales will be in town for a parade on Wednesday, August 28th and the first Clemson football game against Georgia Tech on Thursday, August 29th.  Also, several road construction projects are ongoing in and around the city of Clemson and Clemson University.

Clemson Mayor J.C. Cook was a guest on the Coffee Time program yesterday and complemented the Clemson Police Department for their work and he says they do a great job in their preparation for all events and activities.

The Mayor says that citizens and motorists need to use caution to watch out for students, for other motorists and to watch their speed.

With road construction continuing, the Mayor reminds those traveling in Clemson to look out of those projects in the city and also around Clemson University.
