Camper Explosion Under Investigation in Anderson County

Firefighters in Anderson County said two people were hurt after a camper exploded in Pelzer on Roger Road Wednesday evening around 7:30pm.

A man, who was able to pull his wife to safety from the burning camper, reportedly sustained minor burns, while his wife was treated for abrasions.

Both were transported to an area hospital. Investigators are still working to determine what caused the explosion.
