Solar Eclipse Viewing Event

Clemson University’s Physics and Astronomy Department is hosting a solar eclipse viewing event on April 8, from 12-4 p.m. at 140 Delta Epsilon Court. Peak viewing is just after 3 p.m. Activities include liquid nitrogen ice cream, DIY pinhole cameras, presentations on eclipse science, and live streaming of the eclipse’s peak. Eclipse glasses will be provided.

Multi-vehicle collision in Anderson

On Thursday afternoon, a severe multi-vehicle collision occurred near the intersection of Welcome Road and Highway 29 in Anderson. The accident involved seven vehicles, including an overturned cement truck, which spilled liquid cement at the scene. Pickens County Housing Moratorium in Effect
