Limited activity is scheduled next week in the Oconee General Sessions Court in Walhalla. Prosecutors said they will focus on defendants who have been “carded” to report for court week. In keeping with efforts to keep down the potential to transmit COVID-19, the numbers of those to be seated in the fourth floor courtroom will be limited.

Prisma Health Oconee Memorial has new expanded COVID-19 testing hours from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm Monday thru Friday. The testing site has been moved to an area adjacent to the patient tower at Oconee Memorial. Patients must have a doctor’s order or from a provider through Prisma’s Virtual Visit platform to receive the COVID-19 tests at the hospital.
