Oconee Humane Society is going to be in Westminster at the Lucky Strike Restaurant, 513 E. Main St. this Thursday, May 21st, from 11:30 – 1 with free pet food for anyone needing a little help feeding their furry family members. Since mid-April, OHS has freely distributed nearly 16,000 pounds of generously donated pet food.

Read more28 year-old Darion Deontre Wheeler was arrested on Sunday by Seneca Police, according to Oconee County Detention Center records. He was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, and two counts of distribution of methamphetamine. He also had an unspecified warrant, according to the jail record. Wheeler remains in custody pending bond and judicial proceedings.
