OCPL closed on May 10

All branches of the Oconee County Public Library (OCPL) will be closed on Thursday, May 10, explains OCPL Director Blair Hinson. “This is in observance of Confederate Memorial Day, which is a state and county holiday. The library website, e-books and e-magazines will be available at www.oconeelibrary.org.” All branches will reopen at their normal time on Friday, May 11.

SHS Band Booster Club BBQ Fundraiser

Seneca High School’s (SHS) Band Booster Club will have a Barbecue Fundraiser on May 19. The barbecue is by Neal Nimmons-Smokin Hot Barbecue, and is priced by the pound, plus sauce, buns, baked beans by the pint or quart, Brunswick stew by the quart, with special pricing for a family pack. Pickup time is 4-6pm at the SHS Cafeteria.
