The City of Westminster is buying a new grapple loader truck. At their meeting this week, the Westminster City Council approved $147,920 to purchase a Peterbilt Model 348 to be used in the collection of brush, limbs, leaves and white goods.

In 2018, the City of Westminster hopes to identify and correct surges and interruptions of electricity. The Westminster City Council accepted a $31,800 proposal for an engineering study by Richard Tucker and Associates at their meeting Tuesday night. The city will request that its wholesale power supplier pay for the study.
