OC Population tops 75K

For the first time, Oconee County’s population has exceeded 75,000. According to new statistics from the U.S. Census Bureau, 75,192 people called Oconee County home in 2014. This is an increase of 279 people from the 2013 estimate. The next official nationwide census will take place in five years.
