Charges added in Walhalla Homicide Case

The Walhalla Police Department has added kidnapping to the charges against two of the three individuals arrested in the homicide last week on North Laurel Street. Walhalla Police Chief Ronald Wilbanks says the warrants obtained Friday charge 23-year-old Kenneth Strother Collins Jr. and 18-year-old Megan Brianna Crowe with kidnapping. Fatal Moped Accident in Pickens Co.

A fatal accident occurred Saturday night near the Pickens County municipality of Easley. Pickens County Coroner Kandy Kelley reports that 47-year-old Gregory Alan Duncan of Easley died in a moped accident around 7pm Saturday night at Old Pond Road and Arial Street. According to Kelley, Duncan was not wearing a helmet.

Clemson Student arrested on Drug Charges

Campus police at Clemson University arrested a 19-year-old student in his residence hall door room on drug charges. The charges allege that Anthony Joseph Rizzo of Simpsonville possessed marijuana with intent to distribute and possessed marijuana with intent to distribute within proximity of a school. Rizzo was released Friday on a $10,000 personal recognizance bond.

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office seeks the public’s help locating a Pickens man wanted on three outstanding arrest warrants. 28-year-old Joseph Coy Kilby, whose address on warrants is listed as 161 Swiss Entrance, is wanted on charges of second degree burglary, petit larceny, and possession of implements capable of being used in a crime.
