A Seneca man will spend the next nine-years behind bars for criminal sexual conduct with a minor in the second degree. On Tuesday, Thomas Lamar Cobb pleaded guilty to the crime, which occurred on March 23. Before becoming eligible for early release, Cobb must serve seven-years of the term.

Today, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) learned that drunk driving fatalities once again topped 10,000 in 2013. Announced by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), drunk driving fatalities decreased from 10,322 in 2012 to 10,076 in 2013.
