Arrest made in Pendleton Armed Robberies

A suspect is in custody charged in connection with two recent armed robberies in the Pendleton area.  Deputies with the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office arrested 56-year-old Willie Mays Wideman.  He stands charged with two counts of armed robbery and two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
