Seneca Police round up 13 Suspects for Drugs

On Wednesday, the Seneca Police Department conducted a roundup of wanted drug dealers.  Officers attempted to serve 52 warrants on 33 suspects on charges ranging from distribution of cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamine, heroin and prescription drugs.  So far, 13 suspects have been arrested in the drug raid.  Police continue to search for the remaining wanted suspects.

OCPL to close for Memorial Day weekend

The Oconee County Public Library will be closed Saturday, May 24 through Monday, May 26 for Memorial Day weekend. Book drops will be available for the convenience of library users, and the website, www.oconee.lib.sc.us, is available. The Walhalla Main Library will also be closed on Sundays during the summer months, starting Sunday, June 8, 2014.
