SC Farmers suffer from Cold

This week’s artic cold snap damaged crops for some South Carolina farmers. State Agriculture Commissioner Hugh Weathers says it will take about a week to determine how much damage has occurred. He says there may not be much effect on prices because the cold snap did not last very long. However, he says another cold snap could raise prices.

Piedmont Man killed in Pickens Co. crash

A Piedmont man died in a one-vehicle accident early Wednesday morning on Highway 93.  Pickens County Coroner Kandy Kelley pronounced 22-year-old Armantia Asaad Wright dead at the scene.
