A positive financial report was presented to the Board of Directors at Oconee Medical Center at their monthly meeting Monday night.  During March, the hospital gained $177,000, which represents six straight months of positive margins, with a total of $4.18 million on the plus side since October 1.

Clemson University police have arrested a student on a felony marijuana distribution charge.  According to campus police, 20-year-old Michael Ryan Madill of Watertown, New York, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, Adderall.
