The current lake levels report from Duke Energy shows that Oconee County’s lakes are full. Lake Jocassee sits at 99.5% and Lake Keowee at 97.5% of full pond. These levels were recorded at 10:40am this morning, June 28. Lake levels are reported with normal full pond elevation of 100 feet.

Duke Energy reports 8,400 Outages

Thousands of people lost power after severe storms moved through Duke Energy’s service area Wednesday afternoon. More than 8,400 customers suffered service interruptions Wednesday evening in Greenville, Spartanburg and Cherokee counties. In addition, several hundred Duke Energy customers in Anderson County lost power.
