Car Burglar arrested in Seneca

The Seneca Police Department reports the arrest of an Easley man for stealing a truck from Lake Keowee Ford in Seneca. The incident occurred over night between June 13 and June 14. Traffic Death in Westminster

A single-vehicle collision occurred near Westminster Saturday afternoon at approximately 5:40pm. This collision occurred on the Greenfield Road. Oconee County Coroner Karl Addis reports that 84-year-old Basil A. Bibb died at the scene. Witnesses observed his vehicle run off the road, up an embankment and overturned onto the driver side. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the collision.
