Gamecocks edge Tigers on diamond

South Carolina took two of three games against their in-state rivals the Clemson Tigers this weekend.  The Gamecocks made a bookend of the weekend with a 6-0 shutout on Friday at Doug Kingsmore Stadium as well as an 8-0 shutout of the Tigers on Sunday at Carolina Stadium. Clemson won Saturday’s game at Fluor Field in Greenville, 6-3.
