Central Planning Commission and Pickens County Council to Meet Tonight

The Central Planning Commission will meet tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall conference room at 1067 West Main St. to discuss the town’s capital improvement plan, public engagement opportunities, and accessory apartments. At the same time, the Pickens County Council will hold a work session at the Pickens County Administration Facility, 222 McDaniel Ave., also at 6:30 p.m. The council will discuss accepting grant funding for a $1.85 million waterline extension in the county’s commerce park, conduct an assessment of recycling centers, and establish guidelines for allocating annual recreational funds.
