CHAIRMANSHIP CHANGE

A Seneca representative will now hold the gavel during meetings of the board that sets policy for the Joint Regional Sewer Authority. The JRSA’s long-time chairman, Walhalla’s Scott Parris, took himself out of consideration for a new term during the 2020 re-organization meeting of the sewer commissioners. In Parris’s spot will be Seneca’s Scott Moulder. Westminster’s Brian Ramey nominated Parris for a new term, but Parris declined. Then, Seneca’s Bob Faires nominated Moulder, the Seneca city administrator, and those commissioners present last night voted in Moulder.
