Changes made to OC Administrator Job Opening

Oconee County is looking for a new administrator after Scott Moulder resigned in the spring to take the city administrator job in Seneca. Tuesday night, the Oconee County Council approved two changes to the job opening. “Alter the county administrator resume review process to enable county council to review all resumes received confidentially and to extend the resume receipt date until Aug. 15, and ensure that the position is being advertised with the South Carolina Association of Counties and the Municipal Association of South Carolina.” The original application deadline was Friday, July 20. So far, 21 people have applied for the job. Richard Martin, the manger of Oconee County’s Rock Quarry, has been serving as interim administrator since Moulder’s last day with the county.
