Chattooga Belle Farms hosting OC Business After Hours
Three area Chambers of Commerce host a Business After Hours this Thursday, May 8, from 5:30-7:30pm at Chattooga Belle Farms, located at 454 Damascus Church Road in Longcreek. Greater Oconee County Chamber of Commerce executive director Jillian Lusk gives details. “A lot of people who have not had an opportunity to visit somewhere like Chattooga Belle Farms is because it feels like it is really far away, Long Creek is not that close to Seneca, I understand that, but it is well worth the drive.” Join the chambers and Chattooga Belle Farms as they kick off the spring season. Lusk says this is a great opportunity to meet new people. “We have been rotating, you will see in our Business After Hours the last couple of years and particularly this year, we are doing a very specific Oconee County Chamber networking opportunity or Business After Hours and then we are trying to mix it up and do one where we can partner with the other chambers. The main reason for that is to keep it fresh and allow people to see other individuals that they haven’t gotten an opportunity to meet.” Lusk tells more about the three chambers coming together to host the Business After Hours event. “Rabun County is so close to Chattooga Belle Farms and Chattooga Belle is also a member of that chamber and the Westminster Chamber. So, any time we have a partnership like that with a member, we encourage people that you do not need to just be a member of our organization, there are plenty of community organizations to get involved with and any time we can partner with somebody like that it works out well for us and for our membership.” The Business After Hours will consist of door prizes, refreshments, and networking with the three local Chambers of Commerce.
