Chick-fil-A back open in Seneca

It only took six weeks to transform the Chick-fil-A of Seneca into a more convenient place for employees and visitors alike. On June 1, the restaurant temporarily closed in order to make a reinvestment, explains owner Herb Tyler. “Well, one of the things that we are really excited about is our new look. That new look includes not only improvements to the outside with a new double drive-thru and areas for our outside order takers who interact with each individual guest and car, doubling drive-thru, heaters and fans for their comfort and shelter out of any weather. We do have the ability to continue taking orders from the inside as well, but that personal touch is kind of our specialty. The other aspect when you come in, you are going to feel a more warm, inviting area from the new tile to the new wood to a community table that has been set up. Before people would come in and say ‘hey, do you have an outlet?’ and there were probably two or three in the dining room. Now, we have upgraded electrical access. the playground has been redone for the kids and things like that. It also gives a better area for our individual employees to be able to operate, from the drive-thru area from the front counter area and to create a warm, inviting environment. The biggest thing on the remodel though is something that most people will never see and that is the flow of our kitchen and the flow of our ability to prepare food in an increased capacity to meet demand. So, we are really excited about it. We are very, very pleased for all Oconee County residents and people in the Golden Corner that come to visit us that they were chosen to be able to get a re-investment such as this.” The community is invited to come see the new Chick-fil-A of Seneca at 1612 Sandifer Boulevard in Seneca.
