City of Walhalla Water Department Issues 24-Hour Boil Water Advisory Following Stillwell Construction Tiying into Main

Walhalla, SC – The City of Walhalla Water Department has issued a 24-hour boil water
advisory to customers in the shaded area (link of map) of the included map. Those
included have been notified by phone call, text message, & Facebook.

During this advisory, residents are advised to vigorously boil their water for at least three
(3) minutes before using it for drinking, cooking, or food preparation. Any ice made from
water that has not been boiled should also not be used for drinking purposes.

Water samples will be taken and tested. Residents should continue to follow the
recommendations in this advisory until the advisory has been lifted. The city will notify
customers when the advisory is lifted.
