“Clandestine” drug lab in Seneca

The police in Seneca have taken down what they called a clandestine meth lab in a residential area. The police say they arrested two people at 214 Hopkins Road and dismantled a methamphetamine lab inside a storage building . The police say they acted Friday afternoon on a complaint. Hours later, nearby, they arrested the driver of a blue truck who allegedly failed to obey a stop sign at the Hopkins Road-N. Walnut Street intersection. The police say that, after the driver could not provide any type of DMV document showing he had a driver’s license, the suspect was taken to jail where a detention officer, during a pat down and search, confiscated a bag containing a white-powder-like substance. The police say their field test of the substance indicated positive for methamphetamine. Besides driving offenses, the man was charged with intent to distribute methamphetamine. ..
